We currently have a number of new members with 'Restricted Access' and other members whose 'log on' has expired, or have new e-mail addresses which have not been updated on the website.

To lift the restrictions, and allow free access to the Forum, certain steps need to be followed

New and old Forum members alike keep asking for some guidance in 'saying hello.'

AFTER YOU HAVE LOGGED INTO THE FORUM USING YOUR 'USER NAME' AND PASSWORD, AND ENTERED THE SECURITY WORD WHICH ALLOWS YOU ENTRY -

LOOK FOR "INTRODUCTION OF NEW MEMBERS"

CLICK ON " READ THIS FIRST" - DIGEST WHAT IS SAID ABOUT HOW TO USE THE FORUM POSTINGS (NO BAD LANGUAGE, DEROGATORY STATEMENTS ETC. ETC.) THEN:-

CLICK ON "SAY HELLO" - Look to the top right of that section, for a box    click on that and a message box will appear.

1.  Fill in the subject heading like "Joe Bloggs says hello"

2.  Type in the Message Box below that, what you want to say - such as the lodges you belong to, if you do something particular in any of the lodges, and/or anything else you want to tell other members about yourself.

3.  At the bottom of the Message Box there are three boxes which allow you to preview what you have written, clear the words in the box and start again, or post the finished topic to the 'Say Hello' Forum.

4.  After you have clicked on the 'Post Topic' box, the will be a slight delay while your posting is transferred to the Forum.  Then you should be able to see your posting under its own heading.

5.  Once the Forum Administrator has viewed your posting, in most instances your 'Restricted Access' will be lifted and you can enjoy full membership of the Forum.

IF THERE IS A PROBLEM IN LIFTING YOUR RESTRICTED ACCESS, THE FORUM ADMINISTRATOR WILL COMMUNICATE DIRECTLY WITH YOU.

I hope these simple guidelines will help our new members, and anyone else who wants to 'Say Hello.'

I look forward to being introduced to our new members who will now be able to log on to the Forum with unrestricted access.
